ColorDex is the first app. Alongside the apps we build AI automations set up around one salon: for example, a short report waiting each morning that shows what the salons nearest you posted and promoted yesterday, so you know where you stand before the doors open.

An experienced voice when you need one
A new stylist learns fastest with someone experienced at their shoulder: someone who can say why a formula will or won't get there, and give them the words to explain it to a client. Most never get that for long.
We're building it into our apps, starting with a mentor edition of ColorDex, and we'll offer it one to one for stylists and salon owners. The advice comes from decades of doing the work, with the noise left out.

By stylists, for stylists
Prism Salon Systems was founded by Shari and Josh Geldrich, who owned and ran a group of salons for more than sixteen years. Everything we make starts from a problem we watched stylists fight on the floor.
Shari Geldrich has worked in the professional beauty industry for more than forty years. She was a Director of Education at Framesi, where she wrote education programs and their rollout as well as teaching them, and a Corporate Technical Trainer for Procter & Gamble's beauty group, a full-time corporate role training salons and salon chains. Earlier she ran chain salons in New York. She is the color authority behind ColorDex.
Josh Geldrich came to salons from fashion and from the manufacturer's side of the industry, where he was a sales manager. He spent those sixteen years in the salons beside the stylists these tools are for, on the good days and the ones when a color went sideways or a formula never got written down. He designs and builds the software to make those days easier.
